Fairy Floss for Corporate Events

Whilst fairy floss or cotton candy as it's known is usually reserved for school fetes, carnivals and sporting days, we're finding a growing trend towards corporate events including fairy floss in their menus or as appetisers at special functions.

Fairy Floss is a great way to get people talking to one another and we often find that it's a great "ice breaker" in conversation at larger corporate gigs. If you haven't been to a fete in years or seen fairy floss since you were a child, how great is it when you see it being served at your business function!

National Cotton Candy Day

Believe it or not, the Americans have an official day for cotton candy/fairy floss!

December 7th is proclaimed National Cotton Candy Day in the states but nobody can work out who invented it (the holiday) or why it's in December given they are the winter months in the US:)

Cotton Candy or fairy floss as it's known in Australia is a popular carnival treat that is now likely the most popular food item at school fetes in Australia and fundraisers and a great way to make profits for schools and organisations.

To celebrate National Cotton Candy Day, we're sharing this humerous image (funny to us anyway) courtesy of giphy.com
